I also like the Minimal design Discraft is going with right now and I hope they keep that up.
DISCRAFT HADES REVIEW DRIVER
There's nothing wrong with that though, it's a 12 speed driver that's what they're meant to do after all. I only use it when I need a disc to go far, and it's not in my bag unless I'm playing a really long course where I need a variety of pure distance shots. Overall: The Hades certainly is a single use disc for me. It's an understable driver, this thing exist for tailwinds.

This disc kind of sucks in a headwind, but I knew that going in. I don't like this disc for overhand stuff as it just tends to pan out too soon.

This next thing might also be a me problem, but there is no controlling this discs distance either. Also if I need something that will swoop HARD to the right (RHBH), the Hades will certainly do that.

But if I'm playing at a golf course layout, this disc is great for distance and with a tailwind it will even surpass the Nuke in terms of pure distance. If you were better at disc gold than me, you could probably control that better in tight situations, but when I'm throwing a 12 speed accuracy kind of goes out the window and it can be a bit hard to get the disc to behave. Hades will go a long away, but it will turn hard, glide far, and fade at the end. This is a left to right maximum distance driver and something that in my opinion shouldn't be used in the woods. That is pretty much what this disc is, although if discs like the Kite and Aero have a glide 6, then the Hades should have a glide of 5, but that is pulling hairs honestly. Honestly, this feels like old ESP Flx if you're old enough to remember that.Ībout the Flight: Discraft gives this disc a 12, 6, -3, 2. I have an old ESP Surge next to me of the same weight, and it feels as though Discraft added more flexibility to the ESP over the years. Also, it is pretty durable and I haven't noticed any real damage to the plastic yet. It's rigid but the flight plate is flexible and it has a good grip. However that may be artificial, it usually takes a couple years to see if a disc will really catch on.Ībout the Plastic: ESP is sort of like Innova's Star plastic.

This is Discraft's most recent mold, so this disc is pretty popular right now. There's also a letter 'M' on it because Paul McBeth is sponsored by Discraft and no one sells/sends discs better than him. This disc is one of Discraft's newer designs, and because of that we have normal flight numbers on the front and Discraft's weird stability thing that I never understood. I happen to agree with Discraft, and any time a disc is named after a mythological figure I'm happy. Discraft is a brand that doesn't even try to stick to naming standards and they probably selected Hades because it sounded cool. Here's mine.Ībout the Disc: In ancient Greek mythology Hades was the king of the dead and ruler of the underworld. Also, I have wrote 49 other reviews and you can read them here. If you like reading these you can follow my username so they'll pop up in your feed instead of being buried by Doug memes. These reviews haven't become popular or anything, but I just love chatting about discs with strangers on the internet and that has kept me going. When I started this 50 days ago, I didn't think I would make it this far.
